1984 Californian 43 Aft Cabin

With twin Caterpillar 3208 engines, this mid 80's aft cabin yacht boasts the right amount of power and reliability you are looking for in your next cruiser.  The engines start right up and perform well.  Port Engine was rebuilt in 1997.  Starboard Engine is still in good condition.

The entrance to the vessel is up the dock steps to the open mid deck.  Flybridge forward and up a short ladder.  Fishing cockpit down a short ladder to aft.  The open mid deck is great for entertaining and comfortable seats 4 people. 

Entrance to the main salon is down a few stairs and has a sofa to starboard and a galley bar forward on the port side.  The down galley has a stove and oven along with a 3/4 refrigerator, stainless steel sink and faucet and plenty of storage and countertop space for preparing meals.

Starboard of the galley is the guest head with brand new Jabsco Quietflush toilet and hoses.   The shower stall is large enough to be comfortable and has a shower seat for convenience.

Forward cabin has a twin plus size berth to port and storage locker to starboard.  Plenty of drawer space for bedding and other items.

The aft cabin is large and inviting with almost a queen bed with a full walk around area on both sides.  There is a vanity to starboard with lots of storage behind the sliding doors, lots of storage on both sides and a hanging locker in front of cabin.  The ensuite head on starboard side also has a brand new Jabsco Quietflush toilet and shower stall with plenty of room.

Most systems are original and all appear to be in working order.  The exterior of the boat shows gelcoat that is still very much intact.  The interior needs new carpet and furnishings to get that updated look you want in your new boat. 

This is an original owner vessel and is ready for a new owner.  Do not miss out on this one.  It needs a little love and will provide years of faithful service.

Engines have been serviced in the last year and would benefit from being gone through by a professional or even a fairly skilled mechanic to do cosmetic work and maybe a few hoses to get it up to date.
