Construction details

• Hull: solid FRP
• Topsides: combination of balsa core @ horizontal surfaces & amp; Divinycel @ vertical surfaces
• Hull gelcoat color: CCP 944-W-005 White
• Topsides gelcoat color: LIL DX-QTM-2049 Coastal Sand
• Hull is constructed with two watertight bulkheads to form three watertight compartments
• Interior hull has port and starboard 6” PVC chases running from the engine room to the master stateroom below sole for running additional plumbing, electrical, air conditioning ducts, etc. (Chases are empty at this time)
• Hull was prepped with epoxy barrier coat below the water line at the time of construction.
• Hull was reinforced @ proper locations at time of construction for the installation of active fin stabilizers in the future if desired      
• Stern deck has swing down boarding platform at the stern
• Port and starboard boarding gates @ amidships at dock level.
• Hull and topsides were buffed and polished Sept 2021

• Fully ballasted hull. 7000 pounds of lead encapsulated in the keel.

• No need for active or passive stabilizers because of the lead keel deep in the water and low
• Extra thick safety glass in all windows provide superior light and views in all living spaces while providing protection against breaking seas.
•  Extra wide overhang at living area means greater safety from breaking seas.
• Moderate displacement means need for smaller ground tackle.
• Industrial Tractor based and marinized John Deere turbo diesel is particularly fuel efficient, quiet, and environmentally less polluting with parts available world-wide.
• Engine is sized large enough to power through large seas.
•  Engine is cooled by a keel cooler which means no sea water is introduced into the interior of the engine block.
• Boarding gates both port and starboard mean boarding in true yacht manner.
• Deployable boarding platform at stern for Med mooring.
• Dockside power outlets both port and starboard for convenient deployment of power cord in out-of-the-way location.
• Upper boat deck is large enough for dinghy stowage safety.
