2005 Tiara Yachts 4300 Sovran

The Tiara 4300 Sovran with Volvo Pentas Inboard Performance System challenges every assumption about what a boat can be by changing the whole future of onboard performance while elevating enjoyment of the boating experience. On the 4300 Sovran, dramatically reduced noise and vibration allow conversations in comfort while underway. Because Volvo Pentas IPS releases up to 25% fewer emissions, owners enjoy diesel power performance, economy and durability without exhaust smoke, noise or vibration. In fact, Volvo Pentas IPS in the Tiara 4300 Sovran delivers 25% better fuel efficiency resulting in fewer trips to the fuel dock, increased speed, acceleration and extended cruising range. The 4300 Sovran also integrates the Volvo IPS Joystick control that puts unmatched low-speed maneuverability at your fingertips. With a single, subtle movement of the IPS Joystick, you command the IPS propulsion units to respond in any direction. This gives you the power to maintain control of your 4300 during tight-quarter docking, coming about, reversing or even going straight sideways all without the need for bow thrusters. Most importantly, because IPS takes up 25% less area in the 4300 Sovran, the design team was able to employ the newly available space as a full second stateroom with head. Design keys such as vessel sinks and shower partitions. And the cockpit seating is both inviting and comfortable a perfect environment for the cruising lover.

The master stateroom lies forward and is arranged around a pedestal queen berth. It has a private head with a separate shower stall. The vanity sink is an elegant glass bowl. A cedar-lined hanging locker extends floor to ceiling in the starboard corner. The master stateroom has its own A/C unit, and Tiara thoughtfully located the compressor in the engine compartment instead of under the berth.

Tiara's designers took full advantage of the extra room made available with the IPS installation by creating a spacious aft cabin with twin berths and its own head. A separate compartment holds the toilet and shower, the port side is the vanity and sink.

• The Tiara 4300 Sovran has above-deck features you won't find on many other boats. Usually, the lounge seating opposite the helm is at deck level. On the 4300 Sovran, the L-shaped bench is two steps above, giving it a commanding view. There's a doublewide bench at the helm that faces a large control panel. 

  The helm deck has a high expanse of glass on three sides, plus a standard integrated hardtop to protect you from the weather. A powered vent in the center of the windshield allows good airflow. In addition to that, Tiara arranged the vents in the hardtop so that one opens forward and the other aft to catch breezes no matter what direction the wind blows. 

  There's a wet bar aft of the helm station with a refrigerator. The lower cockpit has a U-shaped bench seat with a removable table.
