Manufacturer Provided Description

The True North is for active boating families wanting more room in the cockpit for all their outdoor activities and people wanting more space to stow their water toys like kayaks, wind surfers and dinghies as well as mountain bikes, fishing and snorkeling gear.   The large cockpit is ideal for lounging, fishing and entertaining.  Large, double transom doors swing open for easy access to the water just inches below the cockpit sole. Best of all, the cockpit is designed to stow a 10-foot inflatable dinghy with an outboard motor; making it extremely easy to launch and retrieve. You  just pull it in and push it out right through the wide transom doors. During a cruise, some owners stow their bikes and water toys right inside the dinghy, eliminating the need for unsightly davits or expensive lifts.

Of course, all of this well thought-out space is no fun if you’re busy maintaining and fixing things, so everything about the True North 38 is designed to keep things simple. Taking it’s cue from the legendary New England work boats the True North 38 is designed with a dependable, single diesel Yanmar engine and a well-protected prop and shaft which allowed the current owner take an extraordinary cruise up the intracoastal waterway with no unfortunate surprises. This is truly a boat designed for water loving people!
