1982 Lancer Yachts Center Cockpit

The Perkins diesel was rebuilt and updated in 2015. During the overhaul a flange cylinder block and the cylinder head was bridge-ported. The flange protects the head gasket from direct contact with the cylinders during firing, greatly extending the life of the head gasket. Machinery work totaled over $23,000. During this rebuild the following was performed. Custom made S.S. exhaust manifold, replaced injection pump, lift & raw water pumps, Heat exchanger, engine mounts, wiring, transmission rebuilt and cleaned, renewed engine compartment and re-painted the engine.
