1969 CAL 40 SLOOP
Specifications
Description
This is a "Must See" Cal 40 that had a complete refit in 2005
Cal 40's have stood the test of time. The Cal 40 is one of the best performing racer/cruiser to come out in recent history. Even today she embarrasses some newer designs particulary in heavy air off the wind. She points as well as more modern fin keel designs with higher aspect rigs, yet she is balanced well and easily sailed.
"Bubala" particapated in the 2005 Transpac Race which resulted with the addition of many upgrades.
