Accommodations and layout
Following to port is a large, standup pilots table with full size chart storage underneath, instrument shelf above, and three drawer storage below. A brass light prism above provides abundant natural light in addition to both AC and DC lighting. Opposite to starboard is a large head with stainless steel vanity sink, full shower, full size manual head, and large storage behind sliding mirrors with a large under sink storage area. The forward through-hulls (2) are easily accessed. Behind the storage closest, a custom 20 gallon holding tank with deck and through-hull plumbing was installed in 1994 with an easily accessed inspection/cleanout port. Underneath, a Y value directs waste for either deck pumpout or overboard with a NEW Jabsco macerator pump (operated from main electrical panel) mounted under the sink for easy access. For lighting and freshness, a locking flush-mounted deck hatch with tinted glass was installed.
Following to port are full size upper and lower sea/crew berths with the upper berth hinged to form large settees. The primary diesel fuel tank is located under lower port berth with easy access top. To starboard is a stainless steel pot belly stove (diesel drip burner) with matching upper and lower sea/crew berths. The primary water tank is under the lower starboard berth. Each berth has double lockers for total of 8 large storage lockers between the berths and the hull. Above lockers on both sides are open storage self with catch rails.
Stepping up to the rear is a port side L shaped galley with four drawers and two sliding lockers for storage. Two full size insulated cooler/lockers exist with single and double top hatches. Under the double stainless steel sink is a full storage locker with hinged door. To starboard is a = circle dining saloon with a center pivoting table that collapses to form a large double berth.
All flooring is carpeted. All ceiling clearance is 6 feet plus. All walls are oiled teak. Interior is very clean and considered in very good condition.
Removable stairs for engine service leads to a large 10 person cockpit which is laid out for a short handed crew with large wheel steering and oversized winches. Port and starboard cockpit seats are 6 feet in length with large 4.5 feet deep lockers for easy access to engine and all systems. NEW cushions exist for all cockpit benches.

Electrical
House batteries consist of 6 Trojan six-volt batteries in series. Starting batteries consist of 2 Trojan six volt batteries. A master switch controls battery selection with a separate switch for charging and the inverter.
NEW DC lighting was installed throughout the boat replacing aging equipment. All standard navigation lights are in operation. Other items include:

Sails and Rigging

Deck and Hull
On the stern, a heavy stainless steel swim ladder with teak steps offers excellent access along with a mid-ship teak swim/boarding ladder that can be used on port of starboard. Single life lines with both port and starboard gates complete the deck. The deck is in good condition with only a couple of minor soft spots.
The keel is a solid iron keel that is repainted on every other year with 5 coats of bottom paint. It is corrosion free The bottom is in good shape but need touch up at waterline (3 coats) to repair flaking of the bottom paint on starboard side at the forward.
The Mona Lisa comes with 8 adult life jackets in a yellow storage bag, a complete man overboard system with pulley system for retrieval of fallen crew (assuming they survive the fall to the water an old Columbia 43 joke from the racing crew off Defender).

- Near NEW 1996 Lorans Cobra Anchor Windless with 100 amp breakers and forward and cockpit controls with 2/0 wiring.
- 200 feet 5/8 high tension chain with 45 lb. CQR plow on extended bow roller
- 50 feet 5/8 chain and 400 feet 7/8 inch rope lead with 40 lb. Danforth with two storage on deck mounts and is stored in the rear locker
- cast aluminum davits for dingy with custom extensions load = approximately 200lb.
- Plumbing for secondary fresh water tank for extended cruising needs
- All through-hulls (2 in head, 2 in-front of engine) and bottom were professionally redone 6/99 and are maintained on a monthly basis (Leading Edge- Newport Beach)

Comments
The Mona Lisa is a solid go anywhere vessel that is fun to sail with many features and offers the handy man sailor extremely high value at a below market price. She is undergoing continued upgrades which will affect sale price. A Newport beach mooring may be available for a limited time following the sale. The boat can be delivered anywhere in California by current owner.
