Description

This boat is still winning races (PHRF 66). New bottom, good instrumentation, nice interior, great cruiser. The best of both worlds. Huge sail inventory including 11 first rate sails (inc. five spinnkers) and many older sails which are still in good condition. Inverter, autopilot, spinnaker poles, SSB and more.

Accomodations

The interior is a full cruising interior with two staterooms and 6 3 headroom throughout. The forward stateroomhas an offset double berth to port with drawers and a hanging locker to starboard. Further aft to port is largehead with shower. A counter and sink is to starboard. The main salon has a teak and holly sole and a longsettee outboard on both sides and a pilot berth above and behind both. The L-shaped galley is to starboard bythe companionway. On the port side of the companionway is a hanging locker, a navigation station and thepassageway (with full head room) to the aft stateroom. In the aft cabin there is a double berth aft andathrwartships, a small settee to port, a sink with hot and cold water, and a second head to starboard.

Galley Equipment

Technautics engine driven refrigeration, stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water and a manualpump, two burner propane stove with oven.

Electronics and Navigation Gear

Five Signet Smart Pak displays (one at the helm, three in the cockpit, and one below at the navigation station),windspeed and boatspeed in cockpit, compass, Northstar 800 Loran, Sea 222 SSB, Alden Faxmate, StandardHorizon VHF, stereo, Benmar autopilot, EPIRB.

Sails and Rigging

This boat has a huge inventory of sails. There are eleven first rate sails which includes five spinnakers. Thereare many other sails which were used in the past but which are still in good shape. Deck winches include twoBarient coffee grinder primary winches, two Bariant #28 secondary winches plus five other cockpit winches, fiveforedeck winches and mast and boom mounted winches. Hydraulic back stay, two spinnaker poles and onewhisker pole.

Deck and Hull Equipment

Aft cockpit with a flat, open deck with allows easy and safe movement anywhere on deck. Boat from mast backis protected by a tent boat cover. New spray on epoxy bottom and new thru holes in June of 1998.With a PHRF of 66 this boat is still competitive and is still winning races, but is also a great cruiser and has beenused extensively for that purpose by the owner.
