Designed by Ed Monk, this long range diesel cruiser is perfect for all weather seaworthiness and to cruise at 7-9 kts with an economical 85hp, Perkins diesel engine. These cruisers feature the Roughwater proven semi-displacement hull with full length deep keel for comfortable, stable cruising. The 35 Roughwater is designed to sleep up to 5 persons in a 2-cabin layout that gives you 6' 2" headroom.
The forward cabin is the master stateroom with a “V” berth with sleeping for two, drawers and hanging lockers.
The main cabin features the fully equipped in-line galley on the starboard side and directly opposite on the port side is a convertible dinette that can readily convert to a double berth, followed by the private and enclosed bathroom, complete with head and wet shower.
The pilothouse encompasses the helm station on the starboard side and a swivel chair on the port side. In the aft area of the pilot house there is athwart ships settee that sleeps one. There are Sunbrella weather curtains that can enclose the three sides of the pilot house in inclement weather. The massive cockpit can be enjoyed for fishing, diving, or just sitting around and enjoying the sun and surrounding water views.
