Description

Good interior, new radar in '97, new bottom paint in August of 2000, new depthsounder, new VHF radio, new speedometer, windpoint and windspeed, 100 hours since rebuild on engine, roller furling headsail, extra genoa, dodger, inflatable with 15 hp outboard, autopilot, refrigeration.

Accomodations

Forepeak V-berth with door and storage above and below, fabric covered cushions, escape hatch, white fiberglass overhead, port and starboard accommodation lighting, chest of drawers, mirrored storage cuddy, wood trim throughout. Further aft is passageway with hanging locker to starboard and head to port. Enclosed head includes storage, mirrored bulkhead, and sink with pressurized water. Aft to galley with convertible dinette to starboard and U-shaped galley to port. Up two steps to main salon which has a settee to starboard with plenty of shelves and storage. Salon is very open, mainly due to the large widows on both sides and forward. Galley/dinette and salon both have white fiberglass overhead and lots of wood everywhere else. Down three steps to aft cabin with large, double hanging locker, fiberglass overhead, carpet, wood grain and fiberglass finishes, chest of drawers, mirrored storage cuddy, king size double berth athwartships, escape hatch, emergency tiller access, door to aft head. Aft head enclosed, includes plastic drainboard with good storage, stainless steel sink with pressure water, good counter space, mirror, and stall shower with door and sump.

Galley Equipment

Includes large top loading 110 volt refrigeration, four burner LPG stove, built-in Mariner Thermatronic microwave, double stainless steel sink with pressurized water, AC outlets.

Electronics and Navigation Gear

New VHF radio, new Raytheon Autohelm radar, new Horizon depth sounder, windpoint and wind speed, new Horizon knotmeter, original built-in autopilot still working, stereo cassette tape deck, TV, compass, pedestal mounted controls. Engine readouts include tachometer, oil pressure gauge, water temperature, ampmeter and fuel gauge.

Electrical System

110 volt AC system with battery charger and shore power cord. 12 volt DC system with four new batteries. Much of the electrical wiring has been upgraded.

Sails and Rigging

Sloop rigged with keel stepped aluminum mast and boom, stainless steel wire rigging, roller furling. Mainsail, genoa, plus spare genoa. Sails are in good conditon.

Deck and Hull Equipment

New bottom paint in August of 2000. Very comfortable center cockpit with large flat deck. Cockpit is U-shaped and open at back, with the floor at the same level as the rest of the deck which makes if very easy and safe to move about the deck. Dodger, spray skirts all around, anchors with rope and chain. Includes inflatable with 15 hp outboard. The Columbia 45 is a roomy, solidly made boat which makes a great live aboard.
