1972 CT 41 Ketch

Designed by the inimitable William Garden, the CT 41 is a roomy and heavily built fiberglass cruiser that looks like a carvel-planked classic, but without the hassles associated with wood. Charming, roomy and sea kindly with all weight (engine and tankage) carried amidship, the design (imported as the Sea Wolf 41, Formosa 41 and CT 41) makes an excellent liveaboard or cruiser; anyone who's done any cruising has probably seen them all over the world.

Perkins 4-107 Diesel engine is seized and needs repair or replacement
Teak Decks have been epoxied an overall seem to be solid by way of walking on them with the exception of the very aft seat/lid cockpit area that needs rebuilding 
Interior teak wood is in good condition

All new cushions and upholstery
Cabin top paint is in poor condition

General

The CT 41 is a traditional William Gardner design open ocean cruising ketch with the warm charm of an all wood interior. With the ketch rig she can be shortened to sail in rough conditions or with full sail in light air. The topside bright work has been meticulously maintained with cetol. This William Gardner design was imported under several different names, Formosa 41, Sea Wolf 41 and CT41 from Taiwan There have been many that have sailed safely around the world and many are still going strong.

Accommodations

The entire main salon/galley area is extremely bright and airy due to the pilothouse configuration and she is beautifully appointed in teak with an abundance of storage throughout.

Entering from the cockpit via the companionway the raised galley is to port w/double stainless sink, hot & cold pressure water, 2 burner electric cook top.  The nav station is opposite the galley and to starboard and features additional counter space and below counter refrigerator. There are settee berths port and starboard in the salon. Access to the engine compartment is just forward of the galley. Moving forward and to port is the head with vanity and shower which can be accessed from both the salon and the master cabin. The owner’s cabin is across from the head to starboard with a pull out queen size, Pullman berth and features an abundance of storage in various drawers and lockers. All the way forward is a small pilot berth to port which would be a suitable crew’s cabin with the chain locker forward.
