Accommodations and Layout

Accommodations for six.

As you board the boat through the stern boarding ladder gate, the open upper deck is sraight ahead with storage for inflatable or hard dinghy, then up to the upper flybridge/helm station.

The aft entry to the aft stateroom is to port.

  • The hull layout starting from the bow is a chain locker, aft of which is a forward cabin with vee berth and stowage thereunder. Adjacent to port is a fully enclosed head equipped with a wash basin and a marine toilet plumbed through to a holding tank. Opposite to starboard is a hanging locker. Steps lead up to the main salon deck with a helm station forward to starboard, settee and dining table opposite to port and a galley aft to starboard.

    There are two doors in the salon area giving access to the weather decks, one forward to starboard by the lower helm station and one aft to port.

    Steps aft and down give access to the aft cabin with port and starboard berths, and a fully enclosed head forward to starboard and equipped with a stall shower, wash basin, full length mirror and marine toilet plumbed through to the holding tank. The aft cabin companionway entrance gives access to the aft deck.

Galley

The L-shaped galley is aft to starboard with the dining table forward and a part of the main deck salon area.

The galley is equipped with:

  • 1) Magic Chef four burner with oven propane stove.
  • 2) Front loading refrigerator.
  • 3) Stainless steel sink.
  • 4) Raritan twenty gallon electric water heater.
  • 5) Good counter top space and storage for dry goods, dishware and utensils.

Deck and Hull

Hull construction is of carvel type planking screwed to sawn hardwood frames on twelve inch centers and additionally reinforced by keel timbers, floors, bilge stringers and sheer clamps.

The deck is constructed of marine grade plywood screw fastened to traverse beams supported by port and starboard beam shelves. The deck surfaces are coated with fiberglass and resin and have non skid deck finish. All exterior deckhouse and flybridge coaming surfaces plus topsides are finished with a high gloss white paint.

Engine and Mechanical

Ford Lehman Model 6D380, freshwater cooled in line six cylinder diesel engine.

  • 3) Upper and lower helm stations have Morse lever contols to cable.
