Description

FANTASTIC LIVEABOARD. Slip available with boat. No Blisters. Interior was gutted and completely redone five years ago. Good looking boat, ready to go, with lots of upgrades and improvements made over the last five years. (A long list is available.) The interior is especially nice with extensive woodwork and customizing. Features such as separate stall showers, walkaround beds, lots of storage (three full closets in the master stateroom alone) vac-u-flush heads, extra large water heater and three built-in TVs make this a great livaboard. A lot of boat for the money.

Total Power: 2 x 330

Accommodations and Layout

All new interior in 1998. New carpeting in and out in 2001. Luxurious accomodations with lots of rich leather and custom woodwork, two cabins with double midline berths and each with its own head and stall shower. The boat has a nearly new insulated leather headliner, an overhead halogen lighting system, 3/8" flooring and bird's eye maple paneling thoughout. Other features include granite and marble countertops and lots of new maple cabinetry and drawers.

The salon has a black leather L-shaped sofa (new in 2001), a lower steering station and an entertainment center to port. The entertainment center includes a built-in 31 inch TV, Zenith stereo, and Harmon Kardon FL8450 disc player with six large JBL remote speakers. To starboard is a complete wetbar with icemaker, sink and two leather barstools and an overhead glass rack.

The galley and dining area are forward and down four steps, with the dinette to port and the galley to starboard. The galley has a three burner Princess LPG stove with oven, a Sanyo refrigerator, an Emerson microwave, a trash compactor, and a double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurized water. There is also a combination washer/dryer unit in the passageway.

Further forward is the guest cabin with a centerline queen berth with lots of storage underneath, a built-in 21 inch Sanyo TV, a private head with a separate stall shower.

Aft is the owner's cabin. The cabin is set up with more storage than any other boat we have seen. Instead of a couple of hanging lockers there are three closets. There are also two nightstands with drawers, a vanity dresser, and a desk as well as lots of drawers under the large double berth. The private head has a separate stall shower/bath tub with a glass door. There is also a built-in 21 inch RCA TV.

Deck and Hull

New Sterling paint job in 1995/1996. Large aft deck with L-shaped sofa, carpeting and custom wet bar/table. There is another L-shaped sofa on the flybridge. Access to the swimstep from the aft deck is very easy. Two steps built into the deck and a higher than usual swimstep make the ladder very short and easy to use. The foredeck is large, flat and open making it a great place to lounge, and the wide sidedecks make it very easy to get to.

Other features include an Ideal electric windlass with a 30# Danforth anchor and 300 feet of chain, radar arch with a bimini top for the flybridge, and canvas windscreens and covers for the aft deck.

Engine and Mechanical

Power is provided by twin Chrysler 330 horsepower V8's which were installed in 1980. They are well-maintained and have about 750 hours on them. It was reported that an engine survey was performed in 1998 and that some work was done on the top end of the port engine to bring both engines to spec. The engine compartment has an automatic CO2 fire extingushing system.

All of the following items were new in 1998. Two water heaters, AC/DC automatic fuel trasfer system, new fuel tanks aft and starboard, new plumbing, shower pump, port water pump, reconditioned props, cutlass bearings, packing glands and shaft bearings on both engines and windlass switch. Also the forward stations were rebedded and backing plates were installed.
