Description

The Islander 44 was designed and built by the renouned Bill Lapworth, and is considered one of his best offshore cruisers. 

Accommodations

Below decks offer a traditional cruising interior. The large v-berth has access to anchor locker and private head enterance with hanging lockers and storage drawers. The head with shower is aft on portside. The main salon features a large L-shaped dinette that converts into a double berth. Opposite is a settee and pilot berth. The nav. station and double quarter berth are next aft on strbdside. The U-shaped galley with double ss sinks, pressured water, large reach-in refrigerator/freezer and storage with counter tops is well designed for cruising. The large cockpit is open with easy helm access. Sleeps (5) with 6'-3" headroom.

Galley

Gimballed 3 burner propane range and oven, stainless steel sink, lots of counter space, drawers and cabinets for storage, refrigerator. Galley table and u-shaped settee.
