Accommodations

Looking at this blue water, cutter rigged, cruising sailboat from the dock, it will have you visualizing yourself sitting in a warm sunny cove in the South Pacific. The first features you notice on Nordlyset will be the  teak decks, and rails. As you step onto the deck, you will be impressed with the magnificent opening hatch, that allows fresh air, and sunlight into the main saloon. Looking aft is the cockpit, with a full bimini, and dodger. On the stern of Nordlyset, there is a heavy duty davit system which holds the factory made tender that matches the boat. Stepping into the teak lined cockpit will give you a good ideal of how easy she will be to sail, with all  the lines leading back into the cockpit from the roller furling headsails. Going down below, you will pass through two solid teak doors, and step down the companionway ladder to the saloon. Standing at the bottom of the ladder, to port is the full galley, with a double Stainless sink. refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, and lot's of storage. To starboard, is the very comfortable, forward facing navigation station, with a full array of navigational electronics. Moving forward is the saloon, with a settee and sleeping bunk to starboard. To port, is a six person dinette that converts into a double bed. Moving forward from the saloon past a solid teak privacy door, you will find the head to port, and storage cabinets to starboard. Just forward of this is the V-Berth, which comfortable sleeps two.
