Construction

Fiberglass 3/8" to 5/8" thickness, cloth/mat/roving, solid lamination.
Cast iron ballast, keel, rudder are fiberglass with stainless stock.

Engines

The vessel was repowered with a Volvo Penta 28hp in 1989. V-drive, 1.25" stainless steel shaft, 18X14 LH 3-blade prop. Estimated fuel comsumption @ 6 knts is 0.7 gallons per hr.
The engine room itself is a completely seperate water-tight compartment, no water gets in, no water gets out.
No fumes in the cabin, no oil in the bilge, and a lot less noise.
