Accommodations and Layout

Sleeps two in the forward V-berth stateroom with ventilation/exit hatchway. Next aft through the bulkhead is a full width head with opening port and sink to starboard and head to port with open hanging locker behind. Through the second bulkhead to the main salon area with a centerline drop leaf dinette table with two settee berths to port and starboard. Then aft to starboard is the L-shaped galley and across to port is the navigation chart table and aft of the nav station is a large double quarter berth with the forward edge being the seating area to the nav station. Total sleeping accommodations for six (five comfortably).

Teak interior paneling and trim. Ample storage lockers and shelving. New aqua blue interior cushions. Molded fiberglass headliner with port and starboard teak hand rails.

Full standing room is 6'2".

Galley

  • Coming down the companionway, the L-shaped galley is to starboard and is equipped with:
  • 1) Hiller Range two burner gimballed stove with oven.
  • 2) Top loading ice box.
  • 3) Single stainless steel sink with foot fresh water pump.
  • 4) Dish and food storage lockers.

Electronics & Navigation

  • 1) Stainless steel pedestal mounted wheel and engine controls and a four & one half inch lighted Ritchie compass in wheel binnacle.
  • 2) Autohelm ST 4000 autopilot.
  • 3) Center hatchway instrument console with built in Signet wind direction indicator, Signet wind speed anemometer, Signet knot/distance log and Signet fathometer. (Owner is very ill and could not verify the working condition of the Signet instruments).

Deck and Hull

  • Hull:Single unit fiberglass, using layers of fiberglass mat and roving with additional glass in high stress areas. Bulkheads are marine grade plywood taped and bonded to hull.
  • Decks:Single unit fiberglass, using alternate layers of fiberglass mat and roving. Balsa-cored for stiffening and insulation with minimum weight. Molded non-skid pattern in all working areas.
  • Ballast:Outside lead fin cast to high tolerances and through bolted to reinforced hull sections.
  • Rudder:Partially balanced high aspect spade type rudder. Synthetic core with stainless steel shaft.
  • Anchor:Danforth anchor with chain and rode in recessed forward deck anchor locker.

Engine and Mechanical

  • Universal Atomic IV, 30hp, gas engine with direct drive, two blade propeller.
