Deck and Hull

Heavy lay up sem-displacement traditional trawler. Very large for a 40 footer due to the 13' 8" beam. This vessel is in excellent condition and does not show her age. The teak decks have just been completely re-conditioned and look new. The new paint job makes her sparkle. There are deck access doors on both sides of the main cabin along with dock gates. There is an electric windlass and sampson post in the bow with an anchor locker and a 22# HT Danforth anchor w/ 5/16" chain rode. The fly bridge is HUGE as are the after deck and fishing cockpit. A rowing dinghy is stored in chocks on the after deck and can be launched with the steadying sail gear. The swim step is teak and holds the inflatable dinghy. The boat was hauled surveyed and had the bottom painted in June of 99. There were no significant blisters at that time. The survey report is available.

Engine and Mechanical

Twin Ford Lehman engines with 1500 and 1700 hours. Borg Warner Velvet Drive transmissions. Both engines have bronze raw water strainers and Racor FF1000 fuel filters. The gen set has separate raw water strainer and Racor fuel filter. Gen set 496 hours. The engine room is clean and recently painted. All the engines are clean with no leaks or corrosion obvious.

Comments

There is, in addition to the 6' FG classic rowing dinghy and the West Marine 9'6" inflatable, a Nissan 5hp O/B motor. All safety equipment is included.
