1977 Uniflite 28 Mega

The Uniflite 28 Mega is a well-built family cruiser with attractive lines and surprisingly roomy cabin accommodations. With her wide 11-foot beam, the Mega delivers a big salon complete with an L-shaped dinette and a facing settee. The wraparound cabin windows provide good all-around visibility with plenty of light. The traditional teak interior woodwork is well crafted. The galley is two steps down from the salon level, opposite the head with shower. Outside the cockpit area is just right for fishing or a couple of folding chairs. Access to the engines and v-drives is via removable hatches in the cockpit sole. Seating is provided for five on the bridge. Like many Uniflites of her era, gelcoat blisters are common problem cosmetically, but are not structural in nature. The twin Crusaders cruise the boat at 20 knots with a top speed of around 27 knots.

A L-shaped dinnett that makes into a double bed is located on the starboard side. Accross is is a settee that makes into another bunk. Forward of the salon is the galley, two steps down on the starbord side and accross is the head with shower. Further forward is the main stateroom with V-type bunks. The flybridge has two seats that fold down making it possible for two to sleep in the cockpit.

A nice sized galley with stainless steel sink, pressure water system, a 110/12 volt refrigerator, combination electric and gas stove and oven, hot water heater both 110 volt and engine provided, and a microwave oven.

VHF radio, Cosure/Benmar 210 autopilot, Loran C, (2) Depth Sounders (one color and one amber) and compass.

Two 6-D batteries, 12 volt and 110 volt system with dock side power cord, built-in charger, AM-FM radio, electric anchor winch, two gas dectors, and four bilge pumps.

Fiberglass deck and hull plus one anchor with chain and rode.

Twin 220 hp Crusaders, fresh water cooled with Borge Warner V-Drives. The engines are well maintained and are in excellent running condition.
