1978 Crealock Kendall 32 Cutter

A true offshore voyager designed by William Crealock, this boat can only be fully appreciated in person. A unique vessel built to a very high standard with the best materials. She has just finished an extensive refit which included, among other things: all new Ultra Leather cushions throughout, new stove/oven, new LED lighting, new 24' color monitor, new DVD player, new sound bar, new cd /receiver, new microwave, hull buffed and compounded, decks painted, new dock lines, new interior runner rug, new refrigerator components, new faucets, new hoses, and most of the interior repainted.             *Possible Owner Financing Available!

The forepeak is in the very front of the vessel and is a large open space.  It is separated from the fore cabin by a heavy bulkhead with 2 doors with crane inserts.  (All the locker doors are fitted with cane  and backed by   solid inserts with ventilation holes.  None of the cane inserts onboard are damaged.)

Coming there is a large pipe which carries the anchor chain from the deck to a storage box well aft. (The idea is to keep the weight out of the extreme ends of the vessel to reduce motion.). The pipe is decorated with sailor's lacing.

On the starboard side there is a wide single berth with lockers above and outboard.  Beneath the bunk there are drawers and lockers for clothes and sundry matters. The cushion is newly covered with Ultra-Leather the finest marine fabric available, as are all the cushions throughout the boat. (Ultra Leather Brias is the exact material used. Work done summer 2020.

On the port side is a 6' workbench with lift up top exposing tool storage and a vast locker for spares.  Beneath this locker there are 3 deep drawers and a locker on the bottom. Outboard of the work bench are two large  horizontal lockers with shelves.

The fore cabin is lit by new LED lighting, a classic gimbaled hero lamp, and a small reading light in the bunk.  There is a very large opening hatch in the center of the cabin for light, air and as an additional means of escape in the event of an emergency .

The flat surfaces are painted with Hatteras Off-White and trimmed in nature teak with a high gloss varnished finish.   (This combination is repeated throughout the boat) .

Coming down the centerline there is a huge cedar lined hanging locker to starboard with shelving and interior lighting.  Above the locker is a large shelf with seawall, outboard of which is a storage locker.  2 fire extinguishers are mounted on the aft bulkhead of the shelf.

Immediately across the way on the port side is a fully enclosed head with a solid privacy door and a full length mirror.  The toilet is a Skipper 7 manual model known for its reliability and pulling power.  Behind the toilet up and outboard is a large locker with two doors and 4 shelves for storage. Facing aft is a full length counter with drop down lockers, a stainless steel basin, faucet for the foot pump fresh water, a new Scanvik faucet for the cold pressure water.   There is a full mirror as well as lockers under the sink which add additional storage .  The Y valve for the hold tank is located at the front of the locker space.

Coming aft into the salon there is a 7 foot settee on the starboard side, which is fitted with a lee cloth so the area can be use as a sleeping bunk at sea.  Outboard of the setee are lockers and shelving with pole storage above.

Port side there is a fore and aft facing dinette for 4 with a large teak table in between .  The table can be dropped into a free to make a sleeping double but has not been used as such by her former owners.   On the bottom side to the table is a lovable storage area for full sized USCG charts.  Outboard of the dinette are numerous lockers and shelving for storage.

The salon is lit by new high powerful LED lighting  .  One of which is over the dinette and the other over the settee.  Additionally, there is natural light for the large butterfly hatch in the center of the cabin and traditional gimbaled brass kerosene lamp.  Mount on the starboard foreword bulked are the brass ship clock by Salem and a barometer.  Adjacent to the dinette and the forward bulkhead is a Taylor's pressurized kerosene head with deck flute and brass heat shield.

On the starboard aft half bulkhead is mounted a 24" LED color monitor.  this interfaces with the DVD player and the sound bar.  The head unit for the CD/Receiver is mounted on the facet of the locker framing on the starboard side above the settee.  The Jensen marine speakers are mounted on opposite sides of the vessel for maximum effect.

Coming aft on the starboard side there is a wet locker.  Above is mounted the chart plotter display.

Farther aft on the starboard side is a queen sized quarter berth elevated about 3 feet off the cabin sole.  This bunk is very long and terminates at the aft engine room bulkhead.  There is new LED lighting, a brass reading lamp and a small mood light. Under the removable cushions there is a large empty locker forward of which is access to the batteries.  There are also drawers and lockers for storage s under the bunk and facing the companion way.  On the right side of the bunk facing aft there is a 3 1/2' long bulkhead running fore and aft. On it there is the electrical panel which has a touch light right above it.

Across on the port side is the galley.  Facing to the port there is a new Dometic propane 3 burner stove with oven and broiler. Outboard of it are storage lockers both at the same level and up to the deck head. To the right is the 6 cubic foot refrigerator with a split for accessing both the freezer section as well as the refrigerator section. There is a large U shaped counter surrounding the stove which serves a workable counter space (the freer lids are part of this counter).  To the left of the stove there is a new microwave and dish storage locker.  Also to the left is the single stainless steel sink with a faucet for the manual fresh water, as well as the new Delta high neck faucet with extendable head.  On the aft bulkhead is a spice rack and knife holder with knives.

On the center line facing aft is the companionway ladder and access to the engine room.

To access the engine room two of the companionway steps are easily removed and a door is lifted out of the way.  The engine room is large and open with great access to the engine, transmission , filters and the built in oil change system.  Proper fire fighting equipment is mounted through the engine room. It is well lite by powerful LED lighting and is spotless.

Rigged per her designer by William Crealock as a masthead cutter, both her Genoa and Super Yankee are hoisted on A Pro Furl roller furling device, while her staysail is a traditional hank on, stowed in a jib ready bag.  Her main is fully battened and has two reef points using the slab reefing principle.

Stainless wire rigging replaced in 2015. The high quality bronze turnbuckles and connective fittings were magna-fluxed and deemed seaworthy.  A  recent inspection found them still to be  in excellent condition.
