1978 Islander 36

The Islander 36 is a proven cruiser/racer design.  Fin keel with a skeg mounted rudder for protection.  These fine boats have sailed all over the world and continue to do so.  The current owner is only the second owner and has enjoyed the boat for many years.  This boat is dialed in for Island cruising.

Apparition has been repowered with a Universal M-35B diesel and has only 242 hours.  New bottom paint over an epoxy bottom with a new dripless shaft seal in 2025.  Full compliment of sails plus spinnaker and pole, head sail roller furling, anchor windlass with helm controls, 2 sets of ground tackle, Radar, GPS, and auto pilot, inflatable dingy and motor.
