Description

This boat was completely redone in 1996, including new teak decks, new rigging, a completely new interior and an engine overhaul. In 1999 a new dodger was installed as well as new batteries, a new battery charger, a new windlass and all new instruments. The boat has been maintained in immaculate condition. A beautiful and rare performance cruiser.

Accommodations

The interior was completely stripped and redone in 1996. Forward is a v-berth. Further aft to port is a large head. To starboard are hanging lockers. When the door is closed the open area between the two is part of the forward cabin, which crates plenty of room and privacy. The salon has a centerline dropleaf table with a settee on either side. There is another berth above and behind each settee, although the one on the port side has been converted to storage. Further aft to port is the navigation station, the galley is to starboard. The aft area under the cockpit has two outboard berths and the area can be separted from the salon by a privacy curtain. The entire interior is teak paneling and appointments.

Galley

12 volt Adler Barbour refrigerator with new compressor (1999), three burner propane stove with oven, deep single stainless steel sink.

Electronics

Big screen Garmin 180 GPS chart plotter new in 1999, Standard instruments (wind, speed, depth & temperature)new in 1999, Furuno VHF new in 1999, Danforth 6" compass, Optimus stereo.

Electrical

110 volt AC system. 12 volt DC system with ProMariner 30 amp battery charger and two 12 volt batteries new in 1999.

Sail and Rigging

Keel stepped aluminum mast with stainless steel rod rigging and a hydraulic backstay. Reckman Master roller furling, rigid mechanical boom vang, Harken maisheet traveller. Sails include Kevlar/Dacron main, roller furled dacron genoa, 150% dacron genoa, 155% Kevlar #1, dacron #3 genoa, .75 oz spinnaker, 2.2 oz spinnaker, storm jub, and storm trysail. Reaching strut and two spinnaker poles.

Deck and Hull

Full sized cockpit dodger with window covers new in 1999. Teak deck was completely replaced in 1996. New Maxwell windlass in 1999 with 150 feet of chain and 280 feet of rode.

Engine and Mechanical

Perkins diesel was completely overhauled in 1996.
