1979 Catalina C25 with Pop Top option. Recently restored, very clean & ready to sail – she’s a great weekender! Powered by a NEWER long shaft, 4 stroke Johnson 8HP motor, includes autopilot, NEW battery, solar panel (trickle charge to batteries), pop top (headroom to 6’6”), heavy duty wenches, teak in GREAT condition, NEW roller furling and 130% Genoa jib, with main and spinnaker in good condition. The main cabin settee has been retrofitted and becomes a very spacious queen size bed, with NEW cushion upholstery. The hull and bottom were RESTORED March 2015, and can be stored on the water or on the hard. Fixed keel. The “Kinneret” is the perfect solo or small family cruiser/weekender, to whatever destination you choose! Two axle trailer needs a little maintenance is available for additional $500. Boat is easy to haul anywhere, mast sets up in a reasonable amount of time by one, even faster with two. She was designed with an 8' beam making this boat stable and forgiving which means more sense of security & comfort. She's quiet while underway which means no yelling over the sound of a roaring engine just to talk normally and fun for the family. A Frank Butler design, this is a well thought out design offering low maintenance from the bottom up and fun for those who sail her. A great weekend adventurer platform with a large V-berth, a settee, and a quarter-berth it can sleep 4-6 comfortably. One sink, port-a-pot head, BBQ/stove, ice box, all of which makes this a very comfortable cruiser. She is on the hard at Channel Islands Landing, as we've since upgraded to a Catalina 36 to accommodate our family.
