The Ericson 25 + is easy to sail, fast, and roomy below with 6'1" standing headroom. Large V-berth forward; private head; main salon with fold-down bulkhead table and two straight settees (starboard converts to a double); L-shaped galley with one burner propane stove and top-loading ice chest; large quarter-berth. This quality boat has been very well maintained by the same owner for over 30 years.

The Ericson 25+ is exactly what the name implies-much more than the typical 25-footer. This is a large sloop with low free-board, a graceful sheer, and all the cruising amenities of a live-aboard yacht. These very well constructed yachts were manufactured in Southern California. Their quality, craftsmanship and ruggedness is evidenced by the large number still being actively sailed and the brand loyalty of their owners. 

The interior has 6' 1" headroom and is one of the most comfortable 25 footers you will find. Six can sleep comfortably with a pull-out double and single berths,  a v berth and a quarter berth.  She also features a fully enclosed head which is designed to drain and function as a shower with a sun shower. The head has toiletries storage locker and hand pumped fresh water for sink. The interior has a teak and holly sole and extensive cabinets/storage. There are storage lockers under both berths, storage area in the step area and outboard storage shelves in v berth & behind settees for book, etc. Galley with ice box & ss sink with freshwater foot pump. Numerous teak factory upgrades including teak dish locker, handrails, paneling, and tilt up counter extension.

The fractional rig design has a high ratio of sail area to wetted surface making her an exceptional performer in light to moderate air. She will outpoint most boats in her class. Inboard shroud and Genoa tracks give you tighter sheeting angles for pointing to windward. When the weather kicks up, its powerful unique hull design allows it to cut comfortably through challenging seas.

Sails include newer full batten North Sails main with lazy-jacks, newer Harken roller furling jib, 120 Genoa and storm try-sail. Some of the other noteworthy standards include internal halyards, a recessed ball-bearing main-sheet traveler.  It has a hinged mast step and the Ericson 25+ was specifically designed for the EZ Loader full-keel trailer which offers an additional option.
