Description
This boat is the cruising version of the Lancer 36 with a private cabin and an extra 1000 pounds of ballast. Clean boat with updated instruments. Bottom was painted, and the running and standing rigging were replaced in September of 2001. Newport Beach mooring is also available with nearby dinghy dock. If boat and mooring are purchased together the price of the mooring will be discounted.

Accommodations and Layout
Nice interior with good upholstery and headliner, and lots of warm wood. Teak and holly sole is in decent condition but needs finishing. Headroom is about six feet in most of the boat. Note that this is the cruising interior with a private stateroom rather than the standard interior.
Forward is a large wraparound settee capable of seating a small crowd. A centerline table with double drop leafs is in the center. The settees pull out to make wider berths. Further aft to starboard is a large galley area with lots of counter space, then the navigation station and a wide quarter berth. To port is a large head with a separate toilet/shower area and an enclosed aft cabin. Electric head.

Deck and Hull
Nice black hull with fin keel and spade rudder. The bottom was painted in August of 2001 and throughholes and other underwater gear were checked. The transom has a nice step molded into the hull which makes boarding from a dinghy much easier. Another nice feature is additional access to the engine through a hatch in the cockpit. Also, the companionway is large and has convenient doors rather than hatch boards.
Sails and Rigging
Deck stepped single spreader aluminum mast. Harken roller furling for headsail and new stack-pack and lazyjacks for stowing mainsail. Stainless steel rigging with split backstay. Spinnaker and spinnaker pole. Primary winches are Lewmar #42 two-speed and self-tailing. The standing and running rigging was replaced in September of 2001.
Engine and Mechanical
Three cylinder 24 horsepower Universal diesel engine. There is a removable hatch in the cockpit floor which gives you great access to the engine.
Additional Comments
Mooring available for $ 9,900. The mooring is at the end of a row for easy access and is close to a dinghy dock. It is weighted for a 40 footer and can be expanded to 50 feet.
