Great classic harbor cruiser, but with the inboard fresh water cooled direct drive engine, galley and sleeping accommodations she is more than capable of day or overnight trips to Catalina. Forward is a cuddy cabin with a marine head under the double berth. The "cabin" area is enclosed on three sides and has the helm and small galley to starboard and a dinette with facing seats to port. It has good headroom and there is also a large sliding sunroof, a factory upgrade. The cabin can be closed off with a canvas and isinglass enclosure, greatly adding to the versatility of the boat. The open cockpit aft, which is at the same level as the cabin area has a bench seat across the transom and additional seating on the engine cover.

Sleeps four to five people. Two can sleep very comforablely in the forward cuddy cabin, the dinette converts to a double berth, but it is a little short for most adults, and one can sleep on the aft bench seat.

New vinyl seat covers, new upholstery and new carpeting, all in 1998.

1999 Norcold refrigerator, stainless steel sink with fresh running water and generous counter and storage space. A portable butane cook stove fits on the counter for use as needed.

The fiberglass hull has a lapstrake design, making it look like a classic wooden hull. Danforth 8-S bow anchor with chain and line. Danforth stern anchor with line. Stainless steel bow rail, stantions, handrails. There is a also an canvas enclosure for the helm/galley/dinette portion of the cockpit with isinglass windows, new in 1998. There is also a full cockpit cover and window covers. Swimstep with freshwater shower.

The Chrysler V8 is easily accessible from all sides, completely exposed for easy maintenance. It is direct drive. The fuel pump and carburetor were replaced in 1999 during normal maintainance and the fuel tanks were replaced in 1999.

This boat is exceptionally well designed for both bay and ocean use. The speed and planing ability make it possible to cross the Catalina channel in less than two hours. The large open cockpit and comfortable cabin seating accommodate a large number of people for social cruising.
