A lot of recent upgrades were made which are important for cruising, including complete reburbishing of the mast, rigging, and fuel system and additional electronics. Includes EPIRB, hard dinghy and liferaft. Great tankage for cruising.

New upholstery in April of this year. Newly varnished interior wood work.

The salon area with its large ports/windows makes for a wide open airy area. Presents comfort and warmth.

Aft of the companionway is an aft stateroom with a double berth, lots of drawers and cabinets, and a head with shower.

Forward of the salon and down two steps there is another seating area with a large chart table to starboard and a settee to port. Above the settee is a pull-out berth which could be considered a moderate double or a oversized single berth.

Further forward is a head with a separate shower stall and a private cabin with an offset double berth. Lots of storage and a small desk.

The entire interior has teak panelling and appointments throughout, giving the boat a warm, traditional feeling. In April of 2002 the upholstery was replaced and the interior was varnished.

A new top-of-the-line Lofrans 1500 watt electric windlass was installed in 2001. Ground tackle includes four anchors, a 70 pound plow, a 66 pound Bruce, a Fortress FX23 and a stern Danforth, 250 feet of 5/16" high test chain, 200 feet of new 5/16" high test chain and 300 feet of rode.

Other recent upgrades include, new canvas for winches, BBQ, mainsail and hatches, new Groco washdown system, new accummulation tank, new water pump and new galley faucets.

In 2001 the mast and rigging was prepared for cruising. The mast was removed and completely rewired with Ancor tinned wire to the breaker box. A masthead VHF antenna and tricolor light, wind indicators, new halogen steaming and deck lights, new Profurl NC42 roller furling and spinnaker brackets were added and the radar was moved from the stern to the mast. The rigging was removed, inspected, cleaned, lubed and the mast was reinstalled with a new delrin mast step and base.

In preparation for cruising all fuel was filtered and polished to 1/2 micron, the tanks were physically cleaned of sludge, and a new Racor turbine fuel filter system was installed.
