1981 Hans Christian Pilothouse

Unique pilothouse model with lots of new electronics in 1997, four man liferaft, watermaker, 10 foot Zodiac with outboard and new epoxy barrier coat and bottom paint in Sept of 1998. Recent survey available. Hard to find boat in good shape with lots of upgrades.

Unique layout combines inside and outside steering along with the Hans Christian's famous "pullman" berth. Down and forward is the owner's cabin with the pullman double berth with plenty of storage and a large hanging locker. The roomy head is all the way forward and has separate stall shower and two sinks. Main salon has steering station, raised dinette, galley, and a settee/single berth. Further aft is a double quarter berth and guest head. Large windows around main salon/pilot house provide plenty of light, and 19 opening ports plus 4 dorades provide plenty of ventilation. Teak and holly floor.

Three burner propane stove with oven, Fleming 12 volt refrigeration, double stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressure water, 110 volt and engine driven water heater.

Uniden MC120 VHF, Combi fathometer, depthmeter, windspeed and direction, Megellan Meridian XL GPS and Garmin 210 GPS/plotter, Raytheon R-10 radar, Benmar autopilot, pedestal mounted compass, Furuno color video sounder/fishfinder, EPIRB, Kenwood AM/FM stereo. Most of the electronics were new in 1997.

12 volt DC system with six golf cart batteries plus starting battery and Heart 1800 inverter. 110 volt system with charger and shore power cord.

Cutter rigged. Mainsail with two reef points, spare tanbark main, 120% genoa with Profurl roller furling, loose footed staysail plus another light staysail, basic sail area of 867 square feet. Deck stepped aluminum spars, mast steps. two Lewmar #16 winches, three Barient #23 and two Barient #28, all self-tailing. Lazy jacks, New sail cover, inslulated backstay with adjuster.

Inside and outside steering, epoxy barrier coat and bottom paint in Sept of 1998, full keel, bow and stern pulpits, mast pulpits, full set of canvas covers and windskirts. Lofrans electric windlass, 45 lb Bruce anchor with 3000 feet of chain, two Danforth anchors plus extra chain and rode.

Four man Givens liferaft, Pur 35 watermaker, 10 foot Zodiac inflatable with 4 hp Mercury outboard, BBQ, safety equipment.
