Beautiful pilothouse with a bow thruster and great visibility - a true pilothouse! Many upgrades over the last four years starting with a bottom job and new paint on the hull above the waterline in November of 1998 and including instruments, windlass, ground tackle and engine work in the following years, as well as a new 10 kw Northern Lights generator in 1999.

Sails and Rigging

Cutter Ketch rigged with Harken roller furling and clubfoot staysail. Aluminum masts. The rigging was inspected, serviced and tuned in August of 1999. The sails were cleaned and reconditioned in 1999.

Deck and Hull

In November of 1998 a complete blister job of the hull was done below the waterline, as well as a Sterling paint job from the cap rail to the waterline and a new boot stripe. The boat was last hauled and painted in June of 2001.

A new Maxwell windlass with a deck switch and an up and down deck and remote switch, two chain gypsies and wildcat was installed in October of 1999. At that time all the ground tackle was upgraded, including 400 feet of new high test BB chain for the forward Bruce anchor, two sets of 250 feet of rope rode for the spare Danforth anchor, and 150 feet of new rope rode for the stern Danforth.

Engine and Mechanical

135 hp six cyclinder Isuzu diesel engine with 3200 hours. At 2800 hours the top end was rebuilt. There are dual Racor fuel filters with a quick change over system. The fuel tanks were polished in 1997.

The boat has a bow thruster with two stations.

  • New hydraulic steering pumps on both helms and new hydraulic lines - Jan of 2000
  • New controls and instruments on outside helm and new throttle and transmission cables - June 2001
  • New bronze guages on helm - Jan 2002
  • Purwater watermaker (needs service - never used by current owner)
  • In July 2002 the starter to the engine was rebuilt and reconditioned
  • Many spare parts such as spare rebuilt alternator, water pump, etc.
