1981 Hans Christian Pilothouse cutter

The Hans Christian 39 Pilothouse has the same hull as the 38 Mark II which gives this stout world cruiser great performance both under power and sail. This vessel is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition and has completed a two year refit for blue water cruising. The Pilothouse 39 features both inside and outside steering with great visibilty in both stations. The layout affords two large heads, stall shower, two double staterooms (the famous Hans Christian pullman berth,) private quarter berth, raised dinette and 19 opening ports plus 4 dorades for incredible ventilation. Complete with watermaker, Heart Interface inverter/charger, 4-man liferaft, Raytheon radar(1997,) Garmin GPS/chart plotter(1997,) Furuno color video sounder/fishfinder(1997,) new Raytheon instrumentation(2000,) fully battened main, all standing rigging replaced with dyform SS wire (1997). A beautiful "turn key" cruiser.

Unique layout combines inside and outside steering along with the Hans Christian famous "pullman" berth. Down and forward is the owner's cabin with the pullman double berth with 8 drawers, large hanging locker and green marble vanity with sink. A roomy head is located the way forward with a tiled stall shower and 4 lockers. Mid-ship to port is a large head with green marble counter top and tiled shower. Across from the head to starboard is a single quarter berth. Main salon has steering station to starboard, raised dinette to port and a settee to starboard. The L-shaped galley is to port and nav-station to starboard. Aft and down to starboard is a double berth with 2 drawers and hanging locker. Pilothouse interior was stripped to bare wood and revarnished in April, 2000.

The galley features a raised island for the double SS sinks with hot and cold pressurized water and fresh and salt water hand pumps. Fleming 12V refrigerator with holding plate, 3 burner propane stove w/oven, 110 V and engine (heat exchange) hot water heater. Lots of storage, drawers and counter areas. Pur 35 watermaker.
