1981 Mainship Sedan

Rare Mainship 40 Trawler with twin Perkins 165hp diesels. Miserly 3 gallons an hour at 8.5kts. Lower pilothouse and flybridge helm, large one level salon with sliding doors to cockpit.  Roomy upper deck.

Enter the salon through the sliding cockpit door. L shaped dinette with table to port and private head compartment to starboard. Open salon area has galley on same level forward to port and a sleeper sofa and entertainment system forward to starboard. Vessel interior has plenty of elbow room with large windows that open for fresh air. Curtains and blinds offer privacy in the salon. The entire salon is carpeted. The galley boasts a large standup refrigerator/freezer, a sink with hot and cold water, and a very nice force 10 4 burner propane stove and oven and Microwave. Storage cabinets are strategicly positioned thoughout with a handy pantry area for food storage.

Forward of the salon is the pilothouse with a lower helm station with engine controls and instrumentation. Raised helm bench offers excellent visability. Two sliding doors port and starboard open for easy deck access.

The master stateroom is forward with a very large double vee berth. To starboard is a large private masterhead with a vacuflush toliet, sink with large mirror, and a separate shower stall.
