Description
The Morgan 41 Out Island Ketch is a 41.25-foot fiberglass sailboat designed by Charles Morgan and built by Morgan Yachts starting in 1972. It features a masthead ketch rig, a full keel with a draft of 4.17 feet, and a displacement of 27,000 pounds, offering stability and comfort for cruising. The interior includes a center cockpit, spacious saloon, forward and aft cabins, and a galley, accommodating up to seven people.
Alba has had all new Garmin electronics added in 2023 including a Phantom 16 radar and wind sensor at the mast.
A Victron 3000w inverter/charger, Victron solar charge controller, victron dc-dc 12-24v converter charger, wind generator, 400w solar, Victron CerboGX BMS, 800AH lithium iron phosphate batteries were also installed around the same time.
The vessel includes a Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot also installed in 2023.
Groco through-hulls and seacocks were replaced in 2022 and the bottom was painted.
