about her...
kayak was purchased by her current owners, in 1996. At that time she had just completed a very successful racing career but was tired and in need of some TLC. She was designed under the International Offshore Racing (IOR) rule that was extremely popular in the early 1980’s. She has participated in most of the major West Coast races, including several Mexico trips and at least one Hawaii trip, and in almost annual appearances at major regattas such as Big Boat in San Francisco and Long Beach Race Week. Her list of major races won is very impressive. Albeit, by 1996 she was ready to retire.
