“SAILS CALL”
1983 Swallow Craft Center Cockpit
Specifications
Description
The Swallow Craft 36 is surprising large for being a 36 foot center cockpit boat. With nicely finished teak joinery work and wonderful storage volume, this is a great cruising boat. SAILS CALL is very well priced and presents a perfect opportunity for someone looking to get into a well built boat, at a great price, and then upgrade some of the systems and electronics of their choosing. SAILS CALL is looking for her next owners and new horizons.
Accommodations
The Swallow Craft 36 has a surprisingly large amount volume and storage inside, with two separate cabins to accommodate two coup[les or a small family. The aft cabin has a large double berth offset to starboard, a short settee, vanity with sink, and numerous storage lockers, drawers and cabinets. The L-shaped galley is along the port side walk-thu, where there is also a door into the engine compartment. Forward of the galley is a bench settee that has been insulated for a refrigeration unit below, and storage lockers and shelf outboard. Opposite to starboard is the large aft-facing chart table with room for electronics and charts, and forward of that is a C-shaped settee with double drop leaf dinette table on the centerline. Below and outboard is all storage. The head compartment is forward to starboard, hanging locker opposite, and a V-berth forward. The interior is done in teak with a teak & holly cabin sole. Numerous opening ports and deck hatches for good ventilation.
