Stamas is well known for quality craftsmanship and offshore capabilities. It is also known for it"s ruggedness and is an offshore cruising sailboat built with long-range passagemaking in mind.

This is a very comfortable well designed pilothouse ketch with abundant space and numerous upgrades. It has a modified fin keel with a half-skeg supported rudder for strength while still providing the added maneuverability of a spade rudder on the lower half section.

The Salon has great natural light from wrap around windows, and also has 4 large overhead hatches for additional light and natural airflow, and two more hatches are provided, one in each stateroom. There are 10 portlights installed throughout the yacht. Hatches have removable screens, allowing added ventilation at anchor.

Stepping down into the main salon, a navigation station is positioned to port, with the U-shaped galley located immediately to starboard. Forward to port is a convertible settee that reconfigures to a double berth. The large folding table can be adjusted vertically down to function as a coffee table. To starboard is a settee convertible to a single berth. Forward to starboard is the lower helm equipped with a VHF radio, knot log, depth sounder display, throttle control, autopilot, radar, Ritchie Compass, Hydraulic Steering control, the engine starting switch and various light switches. The Helm has provision for a 12 volt electric windshield wiper but the system is not currently installed, however it is on board.

The boat is well equipped with a nice galley that includes ample storage, a trash compactor and a 12/110 Volt front loading refrigerator. The galley also has an 110 volt top loading refrigerator/freezer equipped with two holding plates. This system was upgraded with 2 additional inches of sidewall, 4 inches of bottom and 2 inches of top insulation before the new counter tops were installed by Gambol Industries shipyard. The sinks were also upgraded in size and depth increased to 10 inches. A new Seaward gimbaled three burner stove and oven was refitted in 2012. The galley also includes an 1100 watt microwave oven. Two sets of spice racks were included in the galley update. 

The aft master stateroom is roomy and includes an ensuite full head with separate shower stall. The bunk has a queen length Custom HMC mattress. There are two hanging lockers and numerous storage cabinets and 4 drawers. The aft cabin also sports a hinged door allowing full access to the rear of the engine room. There is also an HD TV with BlueRay Player.

The aft companionway can be closed off on both ends by doors for a third sleeping room if needed. This area has a large access door to the engine room. A recent addition to this area was a Splendid washer/dryer combo unit and three new tool drawers below the pilot berth which can be easily accessed from the engine room. These are indeed very worthwhile bonuses for the cruising sailor. The companionway also includes a pilot berth which is situated adjacent to the engine room but has been used as a work station in recent years. It can be easily converted back to a bunk by adding a cushion, is so desired. A printer and scanner are installed in the pilot berth area. 

Forward of the salon, to port, is a head/shower with a separate sink area. This head can be accessed from either the salon or the Fwd stateroom. Opposite the Fwd head is another hanging locker. Forward is the V-berth sporting custom storage lockers for a sewing machine, sliding file drawers a hanging locker a chart drawer, a cabinet to roll and stow the cockpit doors and numerous drawers under the berth. 

Dry Hold Storage 480 CU FT.....incredible amount of storage for a long range cruiser.
