Description

Low Hours on the popular 1985 Catalina 30 Odyssey.  She has a fresh water cooled 3 cylinder Universal diesel with low hours and a traditional layout.  Odyssey comes with a gps, autopilot, dingy and motor, furling, rail seats, stereo and much more.

Great bang for the buck and the biggest 30 foot sailboat around.  Easy to sail, everything is led aft.

INTERIOR ACCOMODATIONS

Catalina 30s have the largest interior of any 30 footer.  It is one of the most popular sailboats of its size ever built.  This vessel is a traditional layout with a dining table that is designed to be stowed on the bulkhead or lowered for an additional berth.  Catalina 30s have the capacity to sleep 7 in 3 doubles and one single settee berth.  The 1985 vintage boats were the first to come standard with self tailing winches, and a three cylinder Universal diesel, and three overhead opening hatches.

The salon is spacious using the full beam of the boat to afford plenty of elbow room.  The dinette table is to port with ample seating, opposite to starboard is a settee and a stand up nav table.  The nav table opens for storage and the electrical panel is situated above the table.  Aft is a very large quarter berth that can sleep two or store a bunch of boat stuff.  Forward is a hanging locker to starboard and a private head/shower to port.  The head has a marine toilet, a ss sink with hot and cold water, and an opening hatch overhead.  All the way forward is a good size vee berth double bed with fill in cushion.

The galley is well situated near the companionway to port and has a U shape configuration with a double ss sink with hot and cold pressure water.  Cooking is accomplished via a microwave oven and a 2 burner CSI gimbled gas stove/oven.  There is also an insulated ice box and storage drawers and shelves.
