 This is truly a great sailing boat to learn on or enjoy or as an experienced sailor. This is the popular, great-sailing Catalina 30. Easy to handle. Perfect Weekend get away cruiser for the experienced sailor or some one new and excited about the learning experience. Designed and built by Catalina Yachts in California. With parts readily available, and known as a solid classic family cruiser and one of the roomiest 30's afloat, this boat is a great trade for your dollars!  She's been sailed and enjoyed. Owner is a Navy officer and they have a new baby, and won't have the time for a few years. She is well-equipped, and ready to go on day sails. A great boat for a young family or an adventurous couple. In fair condition, with a little maintenance and elbow grease, she can be even better!  

 Known for their spacious interior and woodwork in a taste of lite teak, lite counter tops, a very spacious cockpit for a 30'. Vinyl cockpit cushions in fair shape. Sails with battens in great condition, Engine runs great, updated with solar, includes a West Marine PRU-3 Dinghy, along with a new 2.5 HP LEHR propane outboard dinghy motor for getting to the island shore, while anchored in a cove. A New Heat Exchanger in 2017, Cooling System cleaned and in great shape,  Electrical Upgrades, Dehumidifier. Bottom cleaned once a month.

Last bottom paint was approximately 2008.

She needs a little sanding and varnishing and bottom paint.

Eventually some rigging upgrades.

Although we can't escape it, and all boats will need some work, this boat is fairly balanced for price. 

Catalina has a good reputation for making great boats and this Catalina is a great boat at only $18,500! Reasonable offers are encouraged.

Spacious cockpit with wheel steering leads to a 3-step companionway below. Galley is to port, nav desk to starboard. There is a double berth aft of the companionway. Amidships is an "L" shaped dinette that converts to a double berth to Port, with a single settee to Starboard. Forward is the head with storage across, then the V-Berth cabin. At anchor, these boats have great ventilation through multiple deck hatches.
