"Chinook" has been very well cared for since new. She has had many recent upgrades including:
- Vacu-Flush heads
- Stainless steel custom dingy davits
- Custom mattresses
- New Norcold AC/DC refrigerator
- New batteries
- Radar and autopilot.
There are only original 642 hours on the 135HP Perkins diesel.
The CHB 34 was the best selling small Trawler in the US. Very spacious for it's size and very economical. The CHB takes well to the Sea. Powered by a single Perkins the CHB cruises 7 to 8 knots and burns very little fuel.
In 1985 the CHB went to a molded solid-glass deck and this CHB has stainless port hatches.

Accommodations and Layout
Entry from either the aft hatch into aft cabin or at the helm on the starboard side. Forward is a large cabin with V Berth and a private head and shower.
The Main cabin has L-shaped settee aft of the helm seat on the starboard side with a Hi-Low table that allows the settee to become a double bed.
Across from the helm is a side Galley with a 4 burner range and large oven. The sink with pressure water is aft of the range.
Aft of the galley is a double seat that expands the main salon into an entertainment are that seating 6 persons.
The Aft Cabin has a private head with shower as well as two beds. To starboard a double to port a single, with a companionway out to the aft deck.
Access to the immaculate engine room is through hatches in the main salon.
