Description

Ember is a proven cruiser with well maintained twin Perkins Diesels. She has cruised up the west coast to the Puget Sound and has voyaged the inside passage to Alaska. Southern California has been her home.

The 41 Hershine trawler is known for a smooth, quiet, fuel efficient ride.  The hull has a sharp forward entry to efficiently cut in to the waves and a classic flared bow to softly absorb the downward motion of the bow.  The flared bow deflects spray outward to assist in a drier ride in heavy seas.

The engine room is well kept and the interior is well suited for cruising. There is a center line queen bed in the aft cabin master and the forward vee berth cabin sleeps 2 guest.  Each stateroom has a private head compartment.  The aft head has a tub shower. The spacious salon has opening doors port and starboard and features a beautiful teak interior and teak floors.  There is a functional lower helm.  The galley is down and forward.  The cabin is heated.

Topside features a generous walk around deck and a large flybridge area.  Most Hershine Trawlers came with teak decks. This Hershine was reportably ordered without teak decks.  This is a big positive when buying an older trawler.
