Description

This high performance, quality-built cruiser by Tony Castro has the accommodations of a 40-foot yacht, but is 1,000 pounds lighter than many comparable American boats. She is an able upwind performer with 6’ draft. Sporting two, under-cockpit private cabins as well as a vee-berth, she will accommodate as many as ten, sleeping. Her interior shows plenty of well-maintained and varnished teak, unlike some of the newer 90’s models which show plenty of plastic. A Santa Barbara slip is available for this boat, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Santa Barbara Coast and Channel Islands. Please see detailed specifications for more information.

She has a large, slotted, anodized aluminum toe rail, a transom boarding ladder, boarding gates on the transom. Large overhead hatches let in the light overhead.

Additional

Pacifico has a new custom stainless holding tank, a hot pressurized water system, new Ground Tackle appropriate for safe nights at the Channel Islands, and an excellent sail inventory including Spinnaker. She was hauled, polished, and painted in March with 2 full coats of Pettit Trinidad SR bottom paint. Her iron keel was bared and epoxied at that time.

The new owner will find all manuals for the above-listed equipment captured and organized within 3-ring binders. This includes original manuals and manuals on added equipment, plus instructions on the operation of all systems. The Yanmar engine is highly maintained and carries only 1850 hours. The water system valving is labeled. Finally, this boat is “cover crazy”: to reduce maintenance schedules to a minimum, and true to the red and black color theme, there is a black cover for everything: from winches to cockpit cover, to teak rails, including the dodger windows- to resist deterioration. Varnish is in excellent shape. She will shine in any survey.
