Description

This boat has everything - a huge upper deck, an aft cockpit, and an extremely spacious interior. This is a great family cruiser which uses every possible square inch of space. The result is a truly social boat with an apartment-sized salon. In addition to the huge salon, the large upper deck will hold a small crowd. With its facing settees and the complete canvas and isinglass enclosure, the upper deck becomes another entertainment center. Upright refrigerator/freezer, microwave, CD, TV/VCR and more. It spite of the unconventional design over 650 of these boats have been sold, which says something about this boat's ability to appeal to the public.

Accomodations

Great interior accommodations and room. Entering the cabin from the aft cockpit, the entire interior is at one level. The salon has a dinette to port which converts to a double berth, and a long settee to starboard. Full wrap around windows and a light colored fabric dicor creates a very open, spacious feeling, and you can actually see out through the windows when sitting or standing in the cabin. In the forward part of the salon to starboard there is a built-in wet bar. The galley is forward to port. Beyond the galley is the forward stateroom and head. The head is large and has a stall shower with a solid door, an electric head and can be entered form the cabin or the stateroom. The stateroom has an offset double berth and plenty of storage, including a full-length hanging locker. The general feel of the interior is more like a small apartment than a boat.

Galley Equipment

Upright Norcold refrigerator/freezer, Princess three burner stove with oven, double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water. Extra large hot water heater.

Electronics and Navigation Gear

Helm has SiTex T-170 radar, Raytheon V820 color video echo sounder, a backup Lowrance sounder, SiTex SP-80 autopilot, Standard VHF, Standard loud hailer, and Micrologic GPS. Engine instruments include engine synchronizer, fuel gauges, oil pressure, water temperature and tachometer. There is also a Sony TV/VCR and a Sony AM/FM cassette with 10 CD changer, with speakers on the upper deck and in the cockpit as well as in the interior.

Electrical System

12 volt DC system and 110 volt AC system. Four battery banks (4 six volt batteries and 2 12 volt batteries) along with a Heart interface inverter.

Deck and Hull Equipment

The bridge is enormous. It is more like an upper deck, and with a full canvas an isinglass enclosure it becomes another room. The helm seat is to starboard with a curved settee to port, and another forward facing bench seat further aft. The wide sidedecks allow very easy access forward to a small foredeck with a sunpad. In spite of the large lower cabin there is still room for a cockpit with a transom door and integral swimstep. Powerwinch electric windlass. Three automatic bilge pumps.
