1986 Ericson Mark III

A Bruce King designed Southern California classic 1986 Ericson 32' MKIII. A jewel ported in an upwind slip in Marina One in beautiful Santa Barbara Harbor. This Mark III has all the improvements that were made to the last Ericsons built and the owners have made many additions and upgrades.

Entering from the Companionway, the Galley is aft to starboard and to port is a 6'6" Quarterberth with Nav Station forward. A large "U" shaped Dinette which converts to a 4'x6'6" berth is forward of the Nav Station to port, and a settee to starboard. The large head features hot/cold pressure water to the shower and stainless steel sink. There is seperate compartments for toiletries and cleaning gear. Forward and secluded by a teak panel door, is a V-Birth, 6'6" X 6'6"  complete with a private changing area and a large hanging locker

The well designed U-shaped galley is at the bottom of the companionway and to starboard. It features a 2 burner gimballed stove with oven, a 10" deep stainless sink with hot/cold pressure water, 6cu.ft. icebox with insulated top and lid. There is pan storage lockers, cleaning gear storage, tilt-out dish caddy for 10 place settings, a trash pass-through to cockpit bin and a wine rack.

12 volt and 110 volt outlets throughout the vessel. Separate AC & DC distribution panels. The AC panel has a service light, reverse polarity light and circuit breakers. There are 5 AC outlets placed throughout the boat. The 12 Volt panel has a service lights, spares and battery condition meter. There are 12 dome lights, and a chart light.

This clasic vessel is in absolutely beautiful condition! Perhaps the most important feature that distinguishes the Ericson 32 is its Tri-axial Force Grid construction. The unique to Ericson feature strengthens the hull while distributing structural loads from the engine, mast, shrouds, backstay and forestay. This keel-stepped mast vessel is a capable and comfortable cruising vessel and shows pride of ownership.
