This Norseman 400 was just repowered with a Yanmar 4JH5 45 HP Diesel. The bottom has been takien down to bare fiberglass, all blisters repaired and finished with an epoxy primer and bottom paint. The hull has been painted with white awlgrip with a blue stripe. The mast and boom were repainted and new standing rigging fabricated by Seatek. New batteries and battery charger plus plenty additional equipment.
Accommodations
The Norseman 400 features an interior that is is open, airy and perfectly laid out for both offshore work and dockside living. With six opening hatches, eight opening ports, four dorade vents, and two light prisms, in addition to the fixed cabin windows, there is no shortage of fresh air or natural light below. The interior cabinetry is a satin finished teak, with laminated teak over door openings. All drawers have dovetail joints, and the overhead is made up of removable panels for access to wiring & backing plates. Large V berth forward with custom inner spring mattress, drawers and locker space, hanging locker and sliding privacy door. Aft to port is the private head with access from the stateroom or passageway, separate stall shower, SS sink w/pressure H&C water, marine toilet, mirror & cabinet. The main saloon has a large dinette with table fiddles and a fold up leaf. To starboard is a settee with custom made cushions. The navigation station is midship to starboard with an adjustable chair. Aft to port is the large U shape galley. Aft to starboard is the enclosed aft cabin with hanging locker and storage drawers. Teak and holly cabin sole. Engine access is under companionway on center.
