Description
This boat was used for a year and then sat in storage until last winter when the current owner rebuilt the boat from the ground up, including installing a brand new direct drive 350 Crusader engine. All the work is first rate and the boat is beautiful.
Engines
Cruising Speed: 25 mph at 3000 rpm
Max Speed: 38 mph at 4000 rpm
Max Speed: 38 mph at 4000 rpm
Accomodations
Although this is an open boat the storage is quite good. There are two lockers forward which are currently used as anchor lockers. There is storage on the port and starboard bench seats, and they are designed so that fishing poles can be stored in them. (The wood doors on the ends provide for easy access.) Below the floor in the front half of the boat are two large storage/fish lockers with drainage. The center console tilts forward and the helm seats tilt back to expose the engine completely, greatly simplifying maintenance. The two Pompanette pilot chairs are new and there is a teak swimstep and a full canvas boat cover.
Electronics and Navigation Gear
Uniden VHF, President depthmeter, Blauplunk CD/stereo/radio, air horn, Ritchie compass. Engine instruments include tachometer, water temperature and oil pressure guages, and voltage meter.
Electrical System
Two deep cycle batteries with selector switch. All the wiring has been completely redone.
Additional Equipment
New Crusader 350 engine (out of the box) has 60 hours and will get about two and a half miles per gallon for a range over over 200 miles. Engine is direct drive with new shaft, Morse throttle and shift controls. New 80 gallon aluminum fuel tank, two bilge pumps.
