Accommodations and Layout

The interior is in very good conditon with lots of wood, including teak and holly soles, large 360 degree windows, new curtains and about 6' 2" of headroom.

Forward is the owner's cabin which has a centerline double berth. Storage includes two hanging lockers, six drawers under the bed and lots more storage further forward. There is an overhead hatch and four opening ports.

Moving aft there is a large head to starboard which has a separate shower stall and an new "Quietflush" electric head. Across to port is a second cabin with upper and lower berths. The lower berth can be pulled out to make a double so this cabin can sleep three. One of the unique features with this cabin is that the entrance has two sliding doors so the cabin does not have the claustrophobic feeling that the second cabins often have. There is a hanging locker, an overhead hatch and two opening ports.

The main salon is up three steps and has a galley, lower helm station, and large "living" area. The galley and steering station are forward. The U-shaped galley has a four burner propane stove with an oven, a Magic Chef microwave and a double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurized water. Across from the galley and behind the helm station is a large side-loading Norcold AC/DC refrigerator.

The galley is separated by a breakfast bar which easily seats two people. Under the bar is a very large double fold-out table which can seat a small crowd, but which can be completely folded out of the way when not in use. Aft and to starbaord is a nice settee which which can be pulled out into a double berth. It faces the opposite side where there is a built-in 20" Sharp LCD TV with a cassette and DVD player.

There is good storage under the floorboards in the salon.

Deck and Hull

The flybridge is large and open. There is a three person bench seat at the helm facing forward and two small seats on either side. The helm is wide and well-laid out with lots of storage in the console. The flybridge extends aft for quite a ways, including an area over the cockpit. The entire area is has a full canvas and eisenglass enclosure which is in excellent condition.

The cockpit is large and has teak sole. The flybridge extends over part of the cockpit and shades the forward part of the cockpit, but leaves the rest of the cockpit open and sunny without the inconvenience of canvas enclosures. The large double sliding doors into the salon can be opened to create a wide-open area for entertaining. There is a transom door, a large bait tank and new cockpit cover.

Some other nice features on this boat include the unusually wide side decks and a nice flat, usable foredeck. Also, the swimstep is actually an extension of the hull which results in a longer waterline to improve performance.

Engine and Mechanical

The boat has reliable 8.2 Detroit diesels with about 700 hours. An engine survey was performed in May of 2004 with good results reported. The engines will move the boat a about 20 knots but are very economical and the boat will get about 1 1/2 miles per gallon.

The engines are have v-drives and are located under the cockpit. The cockpit hatches open easily and provide good access to the engines. Maintenance records since 1994 are available. The port engine top end was rebuilt in 2001.

Other features include an electric windlass, stainless steel fuel tanks, new fenders and dock lines and a new flybridge eisenglass.

Also includes 8' 6" Achilles inflatable (new in 2002) with a new cover and Honda 4-stroke outboard.

Excluded items: Six man liferaft, EPIRB, dive & fish gear, two cockpit deck chairs, tools and personal effects.
