Description

A beautiful blend of classic charm and modern function, this stunning Pilothouse Cutter fills a niche in the cruising world for those who want a traditional form with sailhandling upgrades designed to make her a double- or even single-hander. The addition of LeisureFurl boom furling main, Reckmann electric furling jib and staysail rigs and a Bowthruster by American Bowthruster make her go-to-sea ready as quickly as you can untie the lines and cast off. "Orca", shows extremely light use and will provide years of adventure for her lucky buyers.

Vessel Walk-Through

Step up from the dock onto beuatiful teak decks with bulwarks and double lifelines designed for safety.  Her thoughtfully laid-out deck equipment includes a Lighthouse Winch, Electric Fuling Headsails and Leisurefurl Boom. Five deck hatches provide generous ventilation.  A custom rowing dinghy sits in her deck chocks forward of the dodger  This is an aft cockpit design, having ample seating space and a helm with a view. Proceed to the open aft deck with pushpit seating.

A turning companionway staircase leads to the pilothouse where the Galley shares space with a Dinette surrounded by windows on three sides. A plasma TV is hidden here in a custom enclosure. Lower engine controls, a thruster control and the autopilot are located her for operating the boat from inside. All the woodwork is teak and the joinery is flawless. There are opening bronze ports throughout the interior of the boat that assist in ventilation. You will find this boat warm, yet open and fresh.

Aft to the Owner's Stateroom with an athwartship queen berth and an en-suite head with separate shower stall. Beautiful teak cabinetry includes storage and a vanity. Transom window provide an old-world atmosphere.

Forward of the Pilothouse, and down three steps, is the Salon/Office with a custom roll-top desk to port and a second dinette to starboard.  Within the cabinetry here you will find the ship's laundry and controls for the entertainment systems as well as the electrical panels and the bar.  Again, generous storage is built-in to this area.

Moving forward to port is the guest head, with separate shower.  Bright colors are used in the surfaces and it's well ventilated.  Across to starboard is the guest cabin, with a large double Pullman Berth and access to a very large closet that is shared by the crew or grandkid cabin tucked up in the bow with an over/under sleeping arrangement for two.
