The Pacific Seacraft 31 Hull is constructed of solid hand-laid molded FRP, the decks and cabin are cored with marine plywood. Hull-to deck seam is formed into a strong bulwark and is overlapped, bonded, sealed and mechanically fastened.
The keel is an elongated fin type with cutaway forefoot an external lead ballast; the rudder is FRP on an Airex core and skeg-hung.
Through-hulls are of Marine Bronze, the propeller shaft is 1" stainless steel.

"Encore" has an open, airy design lending itself to easy entertaining and intelligent use of space. Forward is a large V-Berth that can be separated from the main cabin by means of a curtain. Aft of the berth is an ingenious pull-out table for dining. Further aft to Stbd is the nav station with the ice-box underneath and then the enclosed head.
In the aft port corner is a queen-sized berth with curtains. Fwd of this is the galley.
