A real "10" VALKYRIE is the nicest 38 T on the market. Low hours (887) on her 66hp turbocharged Yanmar and lots of electronics with covers to keep all her bright work looking like it was just varnished make this boat a show piece.

Accomodations
Very large V-berth forward followed by head to port with separate stall shower. Two hanging lockers across. Next is L-shaped settee and table to port. There is a straight settee across. Aft to port is the galley featuring lots of storage with a dog-legged island for the sinks and refrigeration. The engine is mid-ships under the island and has access on all sides. Across to Starboard is the well laid out nav station followed by a pilot berth. On the port side of the companionway is a private quarter cabin. As with all Hans Christians the interior is in teak with lots of old world charm. All port lights are bronze and open for good ventilation. Counter tops are of marble, all brass plumbing fixtures etc. There are three extra opening port lights for additional light and ventilation, two in the forepeak and one in the aft cabin. A Sony AM/FM stereo with a 10 disc CD changer and Bose Speakers in the saloon and cockpit. Weems & Plath brass clock, barometer and comfort meter ( temp-humidity).
Galley Equipment
Hot and cold pressure water with manual and salt water backup systems. Three-burner Force Ten gimbaled propane stove with oven. A three-gallon propane bottle is stored on the fore deck in an equipment box. Also a Sony microwave. Technautics 12V and engine driven cold plate refrigeration.
Electronics and Navigation Gear
ICOM M120C VHF, Autohelm 4000 autopilot, B&G Focus instruments for wind speed/direction, boat speed and depth. Magellan GPS, Furuno 1830 24mi radar, Mast head tri-color light.
Electrical System
12V/110V Systems with Newmar circuit breaker panel, Lewco 12/40 battery charger for four 30H-105 amp hour batteries in two banks, Cruising Equipment battery monitor and a Muir 1100-12V anchor windlass. Raritan 110V water heater with engine heat exchanger.
Sails and Rigging
Tan bark sails by UK, main, club footed staysail and yankee jib, 7 all bronze self tailing winches, (4) # 22, (2) # 28, (1) # 24. S/S standing rigging, aluminum boom and mast with full height aluminum mast steps, hydraulic backstay adjuster, lazy jacks.
Deck and Hull Equipment
Factory approved folding bow sprit for smaller slips, teak decks, several deck stowage boxes, Telstar performance keel, teak and bronze rub strake, dodger, bimini, cockpit wind curtains and new covers for all bright work. Electric windlass, 45lb CQR with 50' of BBB chain and 250' of 5/8 nylon rode, S/S boarding ladder, teak boom gallows. Cockpit cushions, Magma propane BBQ, bronze compass binnacle and solid teak wheel.
