1990 Bayliner 4588 Pilothouse

Popular Pilothouse design from Bayliner was the best selling 45 foot yacht ever produced according to the Power Boat Guide.

Considered to be quite the value for the dollar, the Bayliner 4588 was one of the most popular 45 footers ever produced with over 400 boats built. As with most Bayliners, the fit and finish was average but the layouts were well thought out and the interiors were spacious.

The raised pilothouse design gives the skipper the option to operate the vessel inside with excellent visability and comfort. The flybridge also has a helm station and seats up to 6 plus. A rib tender with a 30hp outboard is stored aft of the flybridge with an electric davit.

The salon is quite spacious with a very large semi circular sofa to port. A large U shaped Galley is forward to port with an entertainment center and wet bar to starboard. The salon is carpeted and the galley has teak and holey floors. Large opening windows surround the salon. Designer valences trim the windows and blinds and sumbrella window covers provide privacy.

The pilot house is forward and up, the 3 staterooms and two private heads are forward and down. From the salon there is a hallway 4 steps down that leads to a double pullman berth stateroom to port. Opposite the pullman berth stateroom is a guest head with a separate stall shower, vacuflush toliet, and a sink and mirror. All the way forward and down the hall is the master stateroom with a centerline queen island bed. His and hers hanging lockers are to port and starboard. Storage drawers are built in the lower section of the bed. The master head is adjacent to the master stateroom and boasts a large tub/shower, vacuflush head, and a sink with multiple mirrors.
