Overview

Vessel Walkthrough

Savannah is the typically wonderful GB 32 layout that successfully endured for over 40 years. They have enjoyed an enviable reputation with the first trawler owner-yachtsman downsizing or sailors switching from sail to steam.

On the bridge, cruise is settled weather in the elements in a pair of fore and aft-facing built-in seats with stowage under. More stowage is located in the forward bridge console.

The saloon windows have Textalene window covers. Once entering, the warmth of the 32s teak interior takes hold. Portside is a straight settee and starboard is an L-shaped settee and dinette table with drop leafs and stowage. The galley with its refrigerator, sink, cabinetry and gas stove and oven are located to port across from the built-in helm seat and a bureau with a top shelf suitable for a 110v lamp. Side, aft and forward center windows open to make the cabin airy. Screens are also integrated into the windows.

Down and forward several steps is the forward stateroom with a v-berth, sizable hanging locker and a separate stowage locker. To starboard is the spacious head with sin, vanity, toilet and shower.

The interior not only provides incredible vistas out from 360 degrees but through windows (with screens) that slide open for great circulation.

The condition of the engine room is as spic-and-span as a new GB rolling off the builders ways. The trek up to the foredeck is made safer and more handily than most power boats because of the wide decks, another well-thoughtout hallmark of Grand Banks
